Take Ride Smart from

the screen to the

range

The online course builds the knowledge. The optional instructor-led

range session gives riders a controlled place to practice the skills that

help them ride with greater control, awareness, and confidence.

REAL PRACTICE. PROFESSIONAL COACHING.

Build safer habits before the

street asks for them.

On a cone-controlled range, trained instructors guide riders

through the core skills needed to operate an e-Bike safely.

Riders work progressively—from getting familiar with their own

e-Bike to braking, turning, maneuvering, and responding to

unexpected obstacles.

Designed to complement the Ride Smart online course, the

range session can be offered as an optional group

experience for schools, campuses, fleets, municipalities, and

community partners.

what riders practice

From basic control to hazard

response.

The range curriculum progresses through a series of coached exercises, allowing riders to practice each skill in a controlled setting before moving to the next one.

01

Controls & getting underway

Locate and operate the bike's controls, engage power smoothly, start in a straight line, and come to a controlled stop.

02

braking & shoulder checks

Practice smooth front-and-rear braking, maintain a straight path while checking blind spots, and build awareness around the rider.

03

speed, turns, & low-speed control

Use rear-brake speed control under power, set an appropriate entry speed, look through turns, and maneuver at low speeds.

04

obstacle avoidance & quick stops

Practice dodging small obstacles, swerving without braking through the maneuver, and straightening the e-Bike before braking quickly.
