Certified instructors who specialize

in children.

Every instructor at RideSafe is trained and certified in youth motorcycle instruction. They know how to explain skills clearly, keep the day structured, and make every child feel encouraged, not overwhelmed.

start to finish.

Training takes place on a closed course. No traffic, no distractions, no surprises. Your child learns in a space designed specifically for safe, progressive skill-building.

Small groups. every rider gets attention.

RideSafe keeps group sizes intentionally small so coaches can work with each rider individually. Your child isn't just watching; they are riding, learning, and improving all day.

No experience needed. beginners welcome.

If your child can ride a bicycle without training wheels, they are ready for RideSafe. Our instructors start from the very beginning and build skills progressively throughout the day.

They leave as a rider

Not just a child who sat on a motorcycle once. Your child leaves knowing how to start, stop, turn, and manage a real bike. With the confidence and respect for riding that lasts a lifetime.

common questions from parents

we have heard your questions

here are the answers

If something is not covered here, reach out. We are happy to talk through

anything before you register.

What if my child gets tired or overwhelmed during the day?

Our instructors are trained to read every rider and adjust the pace accordingly. If a child needs a break, they get one. If they need more encouragement, instructors provide it. No child is pushed beyond what they are ready for. The goal is confidence, not pressure.

Do parents need to stay on site during the class?

Parents are welcome to stay and watch. Many do and love seeing their child's progress throughout the day. However, you are not required to remain on site. What is required is that a parent or guardian complete the waiver before the class begins.

can my child bring their own motorcycle and gear

Yes! If your child already has an appropriately sized dirt bike and their own riding gear, bring it. Our instructors will work with whatever your child arrives with. If you do not have equipment, we provide a bike, helmet, and goggles for the day.

What happens if it rains?

Light rain typically does not cancel a RideSafe session. Riding in varied conditions is a part of real-world skill building. In the case of severe weather or unsafe conditions, we will communicate any changes directly with registered families as early as possible.

What ages are eligible for RIdeSafe?

RideSafe is open to riders ages 4 through 17. Bike sizing is matched to your child's age and height so every rider is on something appropriate for them. If you have a question about whether your child's age or size is a good fit, reach out before registering and we will help you decide.

Does my child need any motorcycle experience?

None at all. RideSafe is designed specifically for beginners. The only requirement is that your child can balance and ride a bicycle without training wheels. Our instructors start from the very beginning and build every skill from scratch.

what they will learn

foundations for a lifetime of smarter riding

RideSafe builds from the ground up: how the bike works, how to

move with it, and how to stay in control when things get exciting.

bike basics

Children learn the major parts of the motorcycle and

what each control does, so they are never just

"pushing buttons".

starting & stopping

We practice smooth starts, predictable stops, and how to always have an "out" if something does

not feel right.

throttle & braking control

Instructors help riders manage speed, roll on and off the throttle, and use the brakes without panic.

turning & braking

We use simple patterns and increasing challenges

to build turning skill and braking at realistic speeds.

body position & looking ahead

Children learn to look where they want to go and move their bodies with the bike, not against it.

respect for risk

Above all, we teach that motorcycles demand attention, respect, and smart choices. Skills that matter far beyond this one day.
