A structured, closed-course training environment
Our instructors are trained to read every rider and adjust the pace accordingly. If a child needs a break, they get one. If they need more encouragement, instructors provide it. No child is pushed beyond what they are ready for. The goal is confidence, not pressure.
Parents are welcome to stay and watch. Many do and love seeing their child's progress throughout the day. However, you are not required to remain on site. What is required is that a parent or guardian complete the waiver before the class begins.
Yes! If your child already has an appropriately sized dirt bike and their own riding gear, bring it. Our instructors will work with whatever your child arrives with. If you do not have equipment, we provide a bike, helmet, and goggles for the day.
Light rain typically does not cancel a RideSafe session. Riding in varied conditions is a part of real-world skill building. In the case of severe weather or unsafe conditions, we will communicate any changes directly with registered families as early as possible.
RideSafe is open to riders ages 4 through 17. Bike sizing is matched to your child's age and height so every rider is on something appropriate for them. If you have a question about whether your child's age or size is a good fit, reach out before registering and we will help you decide.
None at all. RideSafe is designed specifically for beginners. The only requirement is that your child can balance and ride a bicycle without training wheels. Our instructors start from the very beginning and build every skill from scratch.
